Stream of Facts:
After seeing an advance screening of the documentary “Blackfish,” a movie showcasing the mistreatment of orcas at the theme park, Pixar decided to change the ending to Finding Dory in an effort to not promote captivity for animals.
The sounds for the velociraptors in the movie Jurassic Park were created with animal sounds, varying from the noise of a horse to tortoises having sex.
The noise used in the endless staircase in Super Mario 64 is a modified Shepard’s Tone, a sound that gives the illusion that it is ascending while in actuality it is multiple octaves of a pitch played at the same time.
Tolkien began but never finished a story called “The Lost Road.” The story was going to use time travel to tie Middle Earth to the present day.
