Chorus of the Genesee: Free Singing Lessons, Harmony House, 58 East Main St 6 – 7 p.m.
There is no better place to start your future as a musical genius or future pop artist than free singing lessons. Whether you are just beginning or have a lot of experience singing, there’s more you can learn and the Chorus of Genesee would be happy to help.

Ever wondered what you would look like in ten, twenty or thirty years? This is your chance to find out! Come to the SAU for a presentation by Tim Keady from Student Wellness Services.

Gender Rebels: Honoring Transgender Resistance, Flying Squirrel Community Space, 285 Clarissa St. 7 – 9 p.m.
With Transgender Day of Remembrance less than a week away on November 20, the Green Party of Monroe County is hosting an event to discuss how people who are transgender and gender-nonconforming contribute to larger social movements, and the inequality that many still face today.

Friday 11/15
RIT’s Best Dance Crew, Clark Gym 8 – 10 p.m.
Come watch dance crews from several different dance genres compete for the title of RIT’s Best Dance Crew and a variety of prizes, or even compete yourself! Go to the College Activities Board (CAB) Website for more info on the rules and regulations.
Cost: Free to watch, $5 per performing team
Saturday 11/16
Yule Ball, Fireside Lounge 8 p.m. – 12 a.m.
Come by the Fireside Lounge this Saturday for night filled with dancing, magic and, of course, butter beer. All proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders and the Harry Potter Alliance, a coalition of Harry Potter fans all over the country who are committed to promoting the themes of love and social justice found in the novels. Make sure to wear your dress robes or at least your semi-formal muggle clothes.
Cost: $12 for a single ticket, $20 for a couple
Sunday 11/17
Swing Dance with NYC's Sly Blue, Sticky Lips BBQ Juke Joint, 830 Jefferson road 6 – 10 p.m.
Come dance and dine at the jamin’ juke joint known as Sticky Lips BBQ. This event marks the end of the Steven & Virginie’s 16th Annual Lindy Hop Workshop Weekend. If you can’t make it to the rest of the weekend, at least you can attend the finale!
