Q: What is your greatest achievement you’ve had here at RIT?
A: My first three semesters here my GPA was pretty bad, I didn’t care too much about my classes, and my last four semesters I’ve had like 3.8 to 3.9 so I think that turn around and putting in that work to get my GPA back up to where it should be is probably my biggest accomplishment.

John Williams, 4th Year Marketing
Q: What is your greatest achievement you’ve had here at RIT?
A: My time at the ECC has been one as I have met a lot of wonderful people and a lot of wonderful friends. I get to help people on a daily basis to overcome their fear of public speaking and get better at the art. My second greatest achievement is to help a local small business consult with their marketing efforts, so that is very rewarding.

Ember Carvajal, 1st Year Electrical Engineering
Q: What is something that you hope to achieve during your time here at RIT?
A: I really want to make connections with people, especially for jobs. I would say one of my biggest flaws for having opportunities for work is that I don’t put myself out there. So I’d like to at least put myself out there and have people know my name.

Eleanor Clark, 2nd Year Applied Mathematics
Q: What is something that you hope to achieve during your time here at RIT?
A: I am starting to look into doing research with a professor or with another university. I would love the opportunity to keep contributing to the scientific community. I really love hearing about my professors and what they have been doing and hearing about what opportunities there are for research here on campus.

Mary Stampfli, 1st Year
Q: What is something that you hope to achieve during your time here at RIT?
A: Currently, I want to try new stuff that I haven’t done before. I joined [RIT Players], I’ve never done theater before, so I hope to do more with them. So, just generally trying new stuff and things I’ve never done before and getting out of my comfort zone.
