The RIT Community Mourns The Loss of Ethan Sulik-Doty

Now is a time of tremendous loss. Not 24 hours since the last, another one of our fellow students has unexpectedly passed.

This is an unprecedented moment for our community. It is more important than ever to extend compassion to friends, family, classmates, and each other.

If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health or reoccurring thoughts of suicide, please call or text the 24-hour National Crisis Lifeline at 988.

Counselors in NTID Counseling & Academic Advising Services are available for classmates, friends and student members of the RIT community who are in search of support at this time.

The Counseling and Psychological Services can be contacted via secure message on the RIT Wellness Portal or via phone at 585-475-2261. If you or someone you know needs support after normal business hours, please call the 24-hour mental health line at 1-855-436-1245.
