Returning to lovin’cup! A weekly trivia night with prizes like bar tabs and free drinks. Geeks under 21 are welcome too. You might even have an advantage over the drunken revelers — although you won’t get the free beer that can comes with the win.

5 – 6 p.m.

What is a better place to network than with one of the biggest social networking sites out there? Come on over to Golisano and learn about what opportunities await. We hope you like the event.

Wednesday 9/25

Alfred Hitchcock Classic Film Series, the Little Theater

You will be clinging to the edge of your seat in anticipation for this awesome film series at the Little Theater! Starting this Wednesday, Vertigo, The 39 Steps, The Birds, and Rear Window — all directed by Alfred Hitchcock, will be playing. You can buy a punch card to see this four week long showing plus an additional movie at the Little Theater of your choice. Or just come for this one night. It will leave you obsessed with this master of suspense.

Cost: $7 for one movie, $25 for a punch card

Thursday 9/26

Salsa Night! Presented by Essence of Rhythm Dance Studio, lovin’cup

8 p.m.

Salsa your way over to lovin’cup’s Salsa night. Or walk over, and then learn how to salsa once you get there. This monthly dancing special will be a blast whether you want to be the one heating up the dance floor or sitting in the corner of the bar watching people step on each other’s toes.

Cost: $5 before 11 p.m., $10 after 11 p.m.

Friday 9/27

Green Party Show: Pony Hand with House Majority & Blue Lazerz, The Bug Jar

8 p.m.

Stop by the Bug Jar to listen to some new music and green ideas. This show, cosponsored by the Rochester Green party, not only gives you the chance to listen to great bands, but a chance to sign up to vote too. Multitasking! Plus, you get $2 back for registering.

Saturday 9/28

Mud Tug XVIII, Behind Gracie’s (Grace Watson Fields)

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Getting covered in mud for charity. What could be better? Come join one of the nation’s biggest mud tug of wars. Think about all the people you can give mud covered hugs to, or all the muddy trails you can leave behind. And after the fact, you will finally have a reason to do laundry and to clean your shower. This Saturday event couldn’t be better.

South Wedge: Open Mic Comedy

7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
