Sleepbot has taken sleep logging to a whole new level.

The app itself is a comprehensive sleep tracking program, that records, analyzes and maps out the user’s sleep patterns. The application has a user base of over one million downloads, which continues to grow even today.

According to BBC News, beginning November 1 one-third of Texas abortion clinics were barred from performing any abortions under a new law that has been passed. The law requires doctors performing abortions to have patient-admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles. Federal District Judge Yeakel ruled on October 28 that the new abortion law in Texas was unconstitutional.  The judge barred Texas from enforcing the requirement because he claimed that the law unconstitutionally restricted women's access to abortions...

At RIT, exams, homework and sometimes a job can add multiple layers of anxiety and stress that characterize the college experience. For the past two years, the Counseling Center has been aiding students in their fight against anxiety by introducing the Minding Anxiety Project. The project measures characteristics like breathing, respiration and heart rates, along with coherence, which is defined as the synchronization of the lungs, heart and brain together, to measure anxiety. Using these measurements, the student is able to find out what works best for them when controlling their anxiety...

November is Native American Heritage month, during which the Future Stewards program at RIT plans several events to celebrate their heritage and educate other RIT students about their culture. “Thanksgiving is an American holiday,” Jason Younker stated. A man known for his flexography (rubber stamp printing) mastery, Timothy Richardson was a printing technologist at the Printing Applications Lab for RIT’s Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies. He recently passed away October 21 at the age of 51. According to RIT Message Center, he came to RIT in 2001 as the flexographic technologist in the lab while additionally teaching classes, holding Flexographic Technical Association seminars and conducting flexography, or flexo, projects for the printing industry. On November 5 an election will be held for the position of Henrietta Town Supervisor.
