RIT Racing: Hot Wheelz

RIT's engineers are second to none, and their racing teams prove it. Reporter sat down with three of the five racing teams and talked about what goes into making their vehicles, how they got started, and where they are at now. All of the teams are mainly composed of engineers, but they welcome anyone with a willingness to learn and enjoys the thrill of racing.
Hot Wheelz:
Don't let these ladies fool you, they know how to race. The all female team, now in their 4th year, have consistently created electric powered vehicles that are second to none. Winning 1st place their first year and 3rd the other two, Hot Wheelz team decided to move beyond ImagineRIT and enter an international Formula SAE competition, set for April of next year. Priding themselves on mentorship, they are open to any woman who is willing to learn more about making race cars.
