Reporter Magazine Wins Second Place at College Media Association’s Pinnacle Awards

HENRIETTA, N.Y. – On Oct. 16, 2025, Reporter Magazine earned second place in the best magazine cover category at the College Media Association’s (CMA) Pinnacle Awards for the cover of Reporter Magazine’s September 2024 Election Edition.

According to CMA, there were a total of 3,358 entries and 1,165 finalists across eight categories.

Reporter would like to thank the CMA for their generosity in presenting this award.

Reporter Magazine strives to continue delivering creative journalistic content to the RIT community. Through providing students an opportunity to express themselves through a variety of media, Reporter aims to foster informed dialogue and enrich campus culture.

The Pinnacle Awards are CMA’s flagship national honors, recognizing the best student work in collegiate journalism, media production and organizational excellence.

Winners are selected by a panel of experienced media professors and educators. The 2025 Pinnacle Awards were presented at MediaFest25 in Washington, D.C.
